ACC is a Crown
corporation set up by the New Zealand Government to provide
comprehensive, 24-hour, no-fault personal accident insurance
cover for all New Zealand residents. ACC’s pledge
is to work toward preventing injury, provide the best
possible treatment and care if injury occurs, and quickly
rehabilitate people back to work or independence in a
way that offers high value to levy payers and all New
Zealanders.

Canterbury
Health Laboratories is a Division of the Canterbury District
Health Board.
It is the largest medical laboratory in the South Island
It operates
from a purpose built modern, well-equipped facility
situated diagonally opposite Christchurch Hospital.
We provide
a 24hr/7day a week service and employ around 300 staff,
which is made up of pathologists, scientists, registered
technologists, technicians, phlebotomists who collect
the blood samples and a number of clerical/support staff.
We have a repertoire of 1000 different tests and annual
numbers of tests exceed 2.7 million analyses.
We are accredited with International Accreditation New
Zealand for all medical tests we perform.
The laboratories
performs testing on almost all patients under the care
of Canterbury DHB. In addition it receives daily requests
to perform specialist tests from hospital and community
laboratories between Middlemore in the north and Invercargill
in the south. Which gives it the biggest ‘catchment’
area of any laboratory in New Zealand.
We are regarded
as a Reference laboratory – which means we perform
a number of tests that other laboratories do not perform
and are recognised as having number of national and
international experts on specific types of testing.
We provide test results and other interpretative information
to help make diagnosis and treat patients.
The laboratory is also involved with development of
new tests and research and we have a close relationship
with a number of research labs is the Christchurch School
of Medicine
The laboratory is made up of 5 main disciplines Biochemistry,
Haematology, Microbiology, Anatomical Pathology and
Immunology. Each of these disciplines is made up of
a number of different sections.
In addition
to this main site at Christchurch Hospital there are
smaller laboratories at Christchurch Women’s,
Burwood and Ashburton Hospitals.

Enzafoods New Zealand Limited is based in New Zealand
and operates two factories in Hastings and Nelson. Established
in 1961 Enzafoods New Zealand Limited employs 76 permanent
staff and 184 seasonal staff. |

Fletcher
Wood Panels produces New Zealand's largest range of
reconstituted wood based panel products. Our combined
annual output is over 300,000 cubic metres of panels
and we have a workforce of approximately 500.
We
supply a wide range of products to the domestic and
commercial (building, agricultural, furniture and joinery)
industries. Our products can be used in nearly all areas
of everyday life. Some of them are probably in your
car, or your truck, and you will almost certainly have
some in your house.
We have been operating in the New Zealand market since
1942 (although only in our present form since 1990).
Currently we export to countries all around the world,
and have a well-established and respected reputation
as a leader in wood panel quality and customer service. |

Information
Provision of dairy herd testing services throughout NZ including operating the largest herd improvement milk analysis laboratory in the world. High volume DNA testing services are offered as well as animal disease testing and eradication programs for the dairy industry. Livestock Improvement develops and sells specialist laboratory automation robots. Operation of one of the largest Dairy Herd improvement databases in the world, recording millions of animal events that provide herd management reports to customers from this information. The leading australasian provider of specialist herd management software and farm automation systems.
Advice
Operation one of the largest dairy farm management consultancy networks in New Zealand, including specialist advice on sustainability planning.
Livestock Improvement operates a national and international sales and distribution network to support these products and services.

National
Student Relations delivers the primary points of contact
between the University and its prospective and current
students. These service points comprise:
· A face to face recruitment and support channel
(Student Liaison Advisers)
· voice channels (PABX telephonists, inbound/outbound
Call Centre)
· data channels (Internet, email, Interactive
Voice Response)
· print channel (student information publications
and forms)
NSR is responsible for the efficient and effective performance
of its own service functions within each of these channels.
The Section is organised into three sub-units: Massey
Contact National (contact centre and telephonist services),
National Liaison and Recruitment (student recruitment
and support services) and Student Information Unit (print
and web publication, careers services).
NSR also has a role in ensuring the reliability, consistency,
accessibility and quality of administrative enquiry
and information services across the University, since
these services are delivered collaboratively by other
National, College and Regional service units. In particular
this role is discharged by delivering a University-wide
annual customer survey of satisfaction with student
services (excluding teaching), by coordinating careers
services and by contributing to the University’s
customer relationship management strategy.
NSR
will be performing with excellence when:
· The University’s relationship with prospective
and current students is thriving. Key indicators are
numbers of expressions of interest being gathered and
converted into enrolments; student satisfaction with
enquiry/information services and channels.
