Notes for Speakers

Over 150 papers have been accepted for presentation at the Congress. These will provide practical examples of best practices or describe the role of a business practice in building organisational capability. The themes for the Congress are related to the Baldrige Criteria for Performance Excellence as the The Business Capability Partnership has selected this model as the building block for developing businesses in New Zealand.

Final papers need to be sent to paper@worldcongressnz.com by 1 November for inclusion in the proceedings and to be considered for a best paper award and your powerpoint presentations to presentation@worldcongressnz.com by 16 November. Best Paper Award

There will be awards for the best three papers.

Best Paper Award

  • 1st Prize:  $NZ 1,000
  • 2nd Prize: $NZ 500
  • 3rd Prize:  $NZ 250

The best papers are being sponsored by National Student Relations, Massey University, www.massey.ac.nz <http://www.massey.ac.nz/> . The award winners will be announced at the Congress dinner.

  1. Papers addressing themes 1 to 15 which are focussed on the Health Sector.

Presentation Format

The language of the World Congress is English only. Presentations will either be Full presentations (20 to 30 minutes including questions and answers) or Overview presentations (5 to 10 minutes excluding questions and answers). For precise information on the length of your presentation please refer to the Congress Programme.
